Welcome!
Editorial cartoon by Stephanie McMillan highlighting a global crisis: Species are changing their geographic distributions at accelerating rates due to global warming.
My name is Owen Edwards and I am currently a master's student in the Zhang Lab at Oklahoma State University.

I have broad research interests that ultimately revolve around the ecology and evolution of amphibians and reptiles.

Why amphibians and reptiles?
1.) They are simply a fascinating taxonomic groups
2.) They serve as powerful models for studying/quantifying environmental change
More recently I have been interested in species' range-dynamics, especially under the context of climate change. That is asking questions such as: why and how are species changing their distributions?
